Zum Sternla - Bamberg

Noticed, but totally ignored by the employees, others were sitting who arrived later. nothing. rude answer from the owner when it was mentioned.

We went with my son of 10 years old to eat traditional German food I ordered pork shoulder with the local beer mixed next to a carrot ball and my son a carving with sprit. service was average in English communication and polite, but...fast and effective. table was dirty. pork and beer were 8.5/10 of the lateral kartoffel ball 7, the carving was served with salat and baked kartoffels. schnitzel was very dry, salad was dreadfully served with a finished sauce. 4/10 the glass that the sprit was served was the odour beer. we didn't get a receipt when we pay cash (34€). ps i ordered a meat soup for taking, they had no plastic food container for taking and they put it in a clean food box of a heavy sauce. suppe was ok 7/10. in short: there are dozens of better decisions to believe me. 7 atmosphere 7 clean/hygiene:6 Food:6,5 Total experience:BAD

Very nice traditional place. Nice staff. Several rooms. Very nice food- one of the best pork shoulders and also a pretty nice schnitzel. The beer is also one of the best. The price to quality is very good

Bamberg is known for Mahrs Brau and this is one of the first places to brew the delightful, smoky beer. Cool place with great beer and food. I had the brat sampler which was excellent Blood sausage, liver wurst and sauerkraut. Great schnitzel. A...great beer hall to visit!

The present restaurant is not old, but there was a tavern at this place since 1772. we visited a busy evening, but fortunately we were able to sit in the beer garden that was perfect on a sunny day. eating is regional,...the portions generous and of good quality, and the beer excellent. we had very good service and enjoyed our dinner.
