Kropf - Bamberger Koestlichkeiten

Ein Restaurant mit einer gehobenen veganen Küche. Obwohl es auch ein Menü mit Fleisch gibt, war das vegane Menü sehr gut gekennzeichnet. Auch das Servicepersonal konnte fachkundig Fragen zum veganen Menü beantworten. Wir hatten das 4-Gänge-Menü und es war optisch ansprechend und super lecker, gerne wieder!

This beautiful restaurant sports a complete vegan menu with several courses. The food was very good but the breaks between courses were way too long and we even had to wait for our bill. I would give 5 stars for the food but can’t because they also serve meat but I will only give 3 stars because of the waiting time. At least they apologised and offered us free coffee. But still, we spent there 4 hours.

We were with friends there and had spent a great evening, with very tasty eating at star level. you have to be aware that this is not quite cheap, but the price/lead ratio is absolutely right.We will return with friends next week.

My wife and I recently to a Franconia dinner show at Kropf's which featured local Blues legend, Tony Bulluck. Being from Las Vegas I know what to expect from dinner shows and can truly say that this was different. First we served several courses which were an interesting fusion of Franconian cooking and vegan delicacies. I was also pleased to see that every thing was locally sourced ranging from the fish, to game, to local vegetables. The only thing not local was the cooking style and customer service. All of this against a backdrop of the smooth sounds of Tony and his jazz guitar.

Very friendly service!!! We would be kindly welcomed and served. everything has been explained and also recommended the appropriate wee!Fresh and regional cuisine at the highest level we like to come here to special occasions and enjoy wonderful food and beautiful atmosphere.
