Weinschanke Bischofsmuhle - Bamberg

Offer excellent food at reasonable prices. Right next to the river with good views. Many customers during lunch, but the service is still satisfactory.

A little tired with the sights we stopped sitting on the outside door of the wine Taverne in the former Bischofsmühle. We discovered that most customers there were locals – usually they know better where to find a decent meal and it worked again... we spent a very nice afternoon with delicious yarns directly from the frying pan with fresh bread and a carafe of a local wine and the bill was quite moderate!

The baked salmon was fried and not recognizable as salmon. The Kartofelstrudel was quite bizarre and tasted funny. The Wienerschnitzel of my son was one of the worst I ever tasted. His fries were boring and no ketchup. But they have my beer right and the location on the bridge is great. So 2 stars
