This is my benchmark for ribs and chicken in the area. I love my La folks, but barbecue is not something we do well. This place makes up for that. Their smoked chicken is some of the best I've had, and I've had a lot. Love their ribs! I never was a fan of sausage served up as barbecue, as it has its own taste. And I might be a snob, but I don't eat brisket outside of Texas. My go to is the 1/2 chicken, which is $6.95 as this is written. Can't beat the price, and I'm not sure how they keep the price that low. You can dine in or take out, and they do big orders on holidays. Nice folks too!

Drove past here so many times since we moved here from NY. Finally stopped in and what a pleasant surprise. This is a true mom and pop restaurant in all the good ways. Mom and pop really does not describe it well. It is more like going over and having dinner with family. No pretensions, no fancy designer decorations. Just good ole’ fashioned home cooked food made with love. So happy to have went here, now I’m kicking myself in the butt for not doing so sooner!

Really consistent good BBQ. Corn nuggets are the best!

Brisket was kind of bland felt like it was being bold the fried mushrooms and fried okra very tasty though
