Paso Robles has become a favorite destination for my wife and me when it comes to wine tasting. After feeling let down by some of our previous winery experiences, we were fortunate to find Manny, the owner of Avila Wine Company. We shared our preferences with him, and he expertly curated selections from his extensive collection that matched our tastes perfectly. Each wine was not only delicious but also came with a fascinating story about its origins. With over 40 years in the industry, Manny's knowledge and hospitality truly impressed us. I highly recommend visiting this place—do yourself a favor and check it out; you won’t be disappointed!

Stop after dinner looking for a bottle of wine and was treated to a training on local wines. Large small shop with large selection and prices. Will be even more back before we go home. Go on!

I have to hang with Manny. Don't let the box piles throw you away. Like a crazy scientist, the focus is on taste and experience instead of a bougy place with lots of marble and wood counters. Manny is an expert in hard things to find and has its own descriptions of experience for every wine and history. The experience is sincere and not a finished theatre from wine cellar. The wines are everywhere simple, too complex and often to ultra rare. If you're a lover, you're missing if you don't come here.

My friend and I were searching for another spot for wine tasting when we discovered Avila Wine and decided to sit on the patio. The owner was incredibly friendly and engaging. He took the time to provide detailed explanations for each tasting and answered all our questions. In the end, we each found two tastings we loved, so we took home a few bottles of wine. It’s a charming little place for wine tasting, particularly since it’s close to the beach.
