Ubora Coffee Roasters - Augusta

I just received my second HUGE order, including 5lb bags of Sumatra Ketiara and Brazil Minhas Gerais, and once again Ubora has knocked it out of the park.I've tried numerous other roasters won't name names, but they were pretty highly rated and Ubora, hands down, beats them all.You can tell that the roasters at Ubora have perfected the art and take it seriously. They tailor their roast profiles to the coffee beans they're roasting, and the end result is delicious coffee and espresso.If it helps add context to this review, here are my personal preferences. If you're similar to me, then this will likely be your new favorite coffee. Otherwise, you'll still love it, but you might want to try their other offerings! I prefer chocolate/nutty/earth/tobacco notes more than floral/fruity notes. I prefer my coffee to be balanced or even slightly bitter I'm not a fan of acidic coffee, such as Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. I use the coffee to make drip, pour over, espresso, and occasionally cold brew.This coffee is also great as a present for friends and family that really love specialty coffee!Anyway, I need to get back to work. I just couldn't go another minute without singing praises for Ubora.

We arrive one hour and 20 minutes before they closed. The barista was clearly annoyed while we tried to order and they also did not have some things because they had already put it away for the day to clean it. Disappointing because space looked neat. Will not return.

Anastasia was our barrista and I cannot say enough great things about her! She not only provided excellent customer service, coffee recommendations, and food, but she gave us amazing details on what places to check out here and around the country! She deserves a huge raise (and praise ? . My husband and I felt right at home here. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Always try to support local coffee roasters and Ubora makes it very easy to do so. They recently started carrying Peru beans which I greatly enjoyed. Can grind beans upon request or you can buy them whole.

I immediately noticed the attractive and chill atmosphere. I was not initially greeted. However, when I was ready to order, the server was super polite and made sure everything was accurate and to my liking. Great place for meet-ups and to study.
