Miso soup and udon was extremely salty. For anyone looking for authentic Japanese food, I'd find another place. Any location that misspells the dishes, be weary. Ordered the nabeyaki udon (seafood udon) menu said it was a nabikaki, receipt said nabiyaki. Service was great though, waitress was kind and very attentive.Food: 2/5

This small Japanese restaurant located in a strip mall was tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and intimate ambiance. I ordered the combination plate of ribeye steak and teriyaki salmon for $17.99, while my wife opted for the dinner special of shrimp tempura for $13.99. The meals included miso soup, a small dinner salad with choice of dressing, grilled mixed vegetables, and rice (steamed or fried). The portions were generous and delicious. My ribeye was cooked perfectly to a medium rare, while the salmon was thin but still tasty. The shrimp tempura, with eight jumbo pieces, was more than we expected and, although not the crispiest, was very flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive, with the owner even striking up a conversation with us upon learning we were from Sacramento. We were only in Augusta for a few days but are considering returning before we leave.

I had a few questions about the menu as a vegan, but the person I asked seemed to have very little knowledge about it. Their attitude was unpleasant and they didn't put much effort into helping me. When I asked to speak to someone who might know more, they simply said "not right now". The customer service was terrible, it was clear they didn't care.

The staff at this restaurant is friendly and the food is fantastic. My favorite rolls are the Rainbow roll, which has raw fish and looks beautiful, and the Crazy Crab roll, which is baked and caramelized to perfection. The California roll with cream cheese is also a tasty classic. The house soup is a chicken broth and onion base with fresh mushroom and green onions, not miso soup. Miso soup is available for an additional cost and does not come with the meals. Vegetarian options include miso soup (request vegetarian), mixed vegetable entree with white rice, seaweed salad, cucumber salads, and a side salad with the delicious ginger dressing. Booster seats and highchairs are available for children. Parking is available in the back if the front is full. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with grab bars in the restroom. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated if you stick to the menu, as English is a second language for many of the staff.
