Koi hibachisushi - Augusta

There is no point in making a reservation at this restaurant. We had reserved a table for 8:30, but when we arrived, there were six other parties with the same reservation time. As a result, we ended up waiting for an hour.

Our reservation at Koi for 8:00 was cancelled without notice. When we arrived at 7:45, we were told to wait on a long list. Even those with 7:00 reservations had not been seated by the time we left at 8:20. Despite enjoying the food at Koi, I believe they should not be accepting reservations if they cannot honor them. This was a disappointing business decision in my opinion.

The soup was cold and the waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu. The smoked salmon was raw, and the steak was served raw instead of rare. The service was slow, and overall, the food was terrible. I will never go back to this restaurant.

The food was very good the service was fantastic and the portions were enormous; very enjoyable experience I highly recommend this place

Had an Open Table reservation for 6:30. Arrived a few minutes early. Host nowhere to be seen. After about 5 minutes, she came up and checked us in, said it would be another 15 minutes. Okay.... waited.....waited.... 15 comes and goes....20....25......30. People walking in after get seated. Issue, I went back to podium, Manager spoken with. He went to get a table ready . Another 5 minutes, hostess seats another group just coming theu door. That 's it. We went to our neighborhood sushi place, seated immediately. Won 't go back to Koi.
