Golden Garden - Augusta

This is my favorite Korean spot in Augusta! Don't let the reviews fool you! The owner is super sweet, but there is a language barrier. Authentic delicious food and it totally worth it! Everything came out in time. Very clean inside too!

The food was delicious and very obviously homemade and fresh. The owner was nice and joked with us, I don't know where the people get that she's rude. Beautiful experience!

When we decided that we wanted Korean food on Monday, this was the only restaurant in Augusta that was open. I'm glad it was or we could never have tried and the food was wonderfully delicious. I had the Bibimbap-soo good! And my friends all had Bulgogi and they all commented on how good the taste was. And, guys, I judge Korean restaurants on their cabbage Kimchi taste – and it was good. The staff was very friendly – we came in approx. 45 minutes from closing and they allowed us to finish food without feeling hastened (even if we left 10 minutes after closing for the night). The Golden Garden Restaurant was a great find!

The owner is very rude. I wanted to try their restaurant for the first time but arrived after they closed and happened to park and begin walking to the door and two Korean women were outside looking and yelled we are closed. Her tone was rude and she lacked the curtesy to say, hello, ma’me, we are closed, this is our office hour. I realized after she yelled at me that she was the owner. I will not even give her restaurant a try. Does she not realize that her customers are the reason she has a running business —she needs humility and love.

Food was ok…. Nothing that great. Waitress was an old halmeoni who was so rude, I have no doubt it was the main reason the restaurant was empty during the lunch hour…..
