Seabear - Athens

The restaurant is usually quite busy on weekends, but the service and food are always outstanding and we never feel rushed. We've tried nearly everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. As someone who moved to Boston from elsewhere, I was thrilled to find scallion pancakes on the menu. The addition of a light and incredibly fresh rock crab salad takes it to the next level. Even my husband now craves it! The lobster rolls and scallop fried rice are fantastic. The oysters are consistently fresh and the selection changes regularly, while the oyster shooters have a nice spicy kick to them. The cocktails are unique, but they also make a delicious Manhattan. Though I usually dislike paying for parking, it's completely worth it for this restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been pleased with the food. Although the oysters were not as flavorful as I had hoped on one occasion, the rest of the food was still delicious. I also enjoy their cocktails.

Beautiful ambiance, friendly staff. The food was great ,ive never had raw oysters but they were fantastic! Highly recommend.

Wow! I never write reviews, but Seabear blows me away every time. The menu is adjusted seasonally, so everything is always fresh and delicious! As a person with food allergies, it’s delightful to find a place that really cares about its customers--taking the time to help you navigate the menu and adjusting dishes so that you can eat them too. The menu is eclectic and diverse and the food is superb! You'll enjoy the ambiance either inside or outside on the patio. The wait staff is great too! I think you'll enjoy Seabear!
