The pizza is good, prices are surprisingly low, and the restaurant is very family-friendly. Just don't glance at the ceiling.

You 've gotta love this little spot! Oldest pizza restaurant in Athens. It 's been around for a while and for good reasons, mainly the delicious food! I 've never tried their pizza although it looks and smells delicious because I can 't get past their incredible lasagna. It 's awesome! My son loves the spaghetti and meatballs. The portions are more than generous for the price, food always hot and delicious, salads fresh, bread toasty and buttery, and the service great and friendly. Mama Sid 's is a go to for us!

I have been a customer of this restaurant since the 1970s when I was in high school. The food was amazing back then, and it is just as delicious today. Wednesdays are discount nights, but the prices are reasonable all the time. Enjoy!

Mama Sid's is a longtime staple and hidden gem of Athens. The pizza is delicious and a reasonable price. As students, this was in our routinely visited rotation. It's hard to beat a pizza buffet, and Mama Sid's is the best around.
