Ashcroft Bakery & Coffee Shop

Out the back you'll hear some good gospel praise on the radio and down the front there are the nicest ladies in all of Ashcroft serving you real coffee and freshly baked goods. All tasty, healthy [as baked stuff can be] and presented with care. Ashcroft is a small town trying hard to support the tourists and be a point of difference along your journey. I was here during the Fires and when not flying we appreciated the snacks and great coffee. They are open from 0630 hrs.

Went in because I was there a few years back and had a great lunch, as one girl was putting up a " lunch special" there other one insisted to ask me if we wanted sum thing I said we were looking for "lunch" she repeated a sandwich? I said no we were looking for a lunch, she told us there were sandwiches in the cooler over there and pointed to a small cooler with road food sandwiches that were in plastic containers with a peal back clear plastic front. the ones you find at a gas station. You need to bring back house made sandwiches or a home made soup maybe , and get rid of the gas station sandwiches

While spending a weekend in Ashcroft, we had several opportunities to visit this great bakery. We enjoyed lunch, afternoon tea, ice cream and even took home cornish pasties fresh from the oven. Great food and great service. It's conveniently located with ample parking. Seating is inside and some outside as well.

Stopped in en route from the coast to the cariboo. Had a delicious cappuccino and some fresh baking. Everything was homemade and the staff was very friendly. Great local feel in the heart of town!
