Bidrage med feedbackWeathervane rocks! Good espresso (pretty sure they actually weigh dose) with really nice folks and trained baristas. Bonus points for nice baked goods and espresso tonics. If you’re picky about espresso this is one of at most three places in the area I know to pull a good shot.
I'm just so happy to support what Paul, the owner, is doing with this charming little concept he's put together.Roasting his own beans, a deep practiced love of the craft of top-tier coffee, and most importantly, a sleeper hit in the Nova area of single-origin beans from farms he's bought all the season's harvest from. Mindblowing strawberry notes from the Columbian. Try it! Every shot pulled is executed with focused precision indicative of following a calling, beyond a simple small business.Their mocha's chocolate is rich and luxuriously velvety alongside the bright fruity espresso shot pull, their Weathervane Cortado is a toasty perfect balanced nutty.Partnered with a local baker for delicious pastries and coffee cakes. I'm just in love with the attention to nuances and details. My toddler loves the tiny little mini cupcakes.Best new coffee spot in Ashburn!
Great wine and coffee place. Amazing ambience and staff. Love the spirit and coffee is above average and I think the best in town. As a VIP yelper and owner of similar concept I give them five out of five. I am impressed and my congrats to the owners and founders. Love to meet them and chat with them to carry certain other wines and hose wine tasting sessions. Virginia wines is a great importer and distributors also. I highly recommend talking to John at Virginia wine.
My pumpkin coffee was pretty tasty. The staff was very warm and welcoming. It's clean, and simplistic inside. Great meetup spot for sure!
Weathervane is tucked away in Brambleton, which is in Ashburn, but it is worth the drive! This coffee shop has their own beans and the best espresso/americano in NoVa! I am pretty picky about my coffee, I almost strictly only get iced americanos and although some people might call me out on this, judge a shop's coffee based on it! I think it's really easy for the americano to get very watery or just bitter, without any flavor. Weathervane coffee got it just right! I also recently tried their espresso tonic and it was very refreshing! I suggest maybe putting an orange peel garnish, as I think the citrus might bring out more refreshing flavors! Overall this place is a solid place to get coffee and I would make the 20 minute drive to get it again :
