The Hideout - Aptos

We thought we would try a place we have not been yet. It's super crowded, but I guess that a good thing, right? Hostess was very nice and even though it was busy the wait was only about 15 minutes. The waitress was really nice, took our order, and we got served pretty fast then . All the tables around us got service and water. It was funny that even the waiter across from us serving water never even turned around to give us any or the table staff who gave the people next to us. It got to a point where I had to get up and ask for boxes and the bill. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. Got the Rueben and the Cuban. The owner, I believe, came over around the end because he could tell, but at that point, it was too late. We visited, for an early dinner with our friends. Nice outside table, our waiter was great. And we all loved the food. Tip...try the chipotle shrimp, it is really good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice higher end restaurant. Enjoyed the food and staff was very attentive to our food allergy concerns.
