Looney's Pub - Antioch

The service at this restaurant was slow and the food did not meet the same standard as my previous visit. The average price per person is between $20 and $30. The food received a rating of 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 3.

Looneys pub for pizza was a stop I wanted to make because of there bragging on how good there pizza was. I'll tell you what. Wow I was very impressed. Look out antioch pizza. Half price on Tuesday is a deal and a half. Loved it.

Went there for the first time about a week ago. It was almost 10 and we were trying to find some where to eat on a Saturday night. Mostly everyone's kitchen was already closed or close to closing. We called Looney's and the person on the phone told us the same story, the kitchen is closing at 10. We said awww ok thanks anyway but he insisted we could still come for food because it was only 9:45. The person on the phone was Matt the bartender. He was awesome! We ordered a chicken quesadilla, lobster roll and mac and cheese with lobster. The quesadilla was delicious, the lobster roll was comparable to Station 51 and half the price! I wish I would've taken pictures! The mac and cheese was a bit over cooked but we chalked it up to ordering at closing time. Matt said to come back on Tuesday for half price pizza, so we did. The order took a bit longer than expected but he said there was a big to go order right before us so I'm glad we got mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. As you can see by the picture, it was cooked perfectly and was half cheese half bacon. The sauce had a good flavor and there was just the right amount. However, it could've used way more bacon! We'll definitely be back to try other items and to see Matt of course!
