Lou Cancan - Antibes

It was a dull January day, so called in by chance as we both fancied mussels which were a dish of the day. Not too many people in the restaurant, however , once seated we were put at ease by friendliness of the staff, the...mussels were excellent , even hand cut chips. I realise that this dish is not much of a challenge to the chef, but good is good!

Came across this restaurant as I was wondering along the street early one evening. It was busy with people having drinks and the location was good for people watching. I ordered an Aperol spritz and a Margherita pizza. Wow. It was the best pizza I...have ever eaten and reasonably priced. I am still thinking about. It was perfection. I went back a couple of times during the week I was there and the food and service was good each time. I would definitely go again either solo or with friends.

We ate her because it's kind of a famous. Because it's off season, there was no rush. The pizza was average, the service average, mistake in the bill was corrected when we blaimed. One time was enough though... e for two adults and one...child, just main courses and one bottle of wine.

What can I say? We came back, here for two weeks again, each time we went there it was closed, they are obviously making too much money, that they can afford to now close on Tuesdays and even an fermeture exceptionel' on a Friday, check...if its open before you even bother to check out the food, very disappointed.

We stopped by here and had good service and good to average food. The pizza was good. The steak just average. I wouldn't go here for steak if I were a a huge steak person (as my travel companion is). The pizza was good as...was the service.
