Jasper's - Amble

This is a hidden gem in Amble. It's definitely somewhere to visit for a romantic meal with good quality food. The restaurant is small, but spacing of the tables is well set out for social distancing. If you visit, you wont be disappointed.

What a fabulous little find! Food outstanding, great atmosphere and excellent service from the waiter and the chef!! Would highly recommend it to anyone who happens to find themselves in Amble!

We love it at Jasper’s, it’s consistently good quality and the bread and butter pudding is sensational!

We had a lovely time. Friendly waitress who explained the specials board to us and apologised for the few things that were unavailable saying they had had a private party in that afternoon and they’d eaten all the scallops, shame on them. We both had squid to start which was outstanding Bouillabaisse to follow for me and sea bass for the lovely one, the dishes were cooked to order and well presented with bags of flavour. We finished with rhubarb and ginger crumble, another triumph. A bottle of Merlot and a few pale ales helped everything along. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing evening, nice ambiance with some good tunes playing in the background. We’ll be back.
