The Nordic Inn Brenthoven's - Alpine

We've been dining here for over 33 years, ever since the owners of the old Valley View in Afton recommended it to us. Every time we visit, we find ourselves reminiscing about this wonderful place.

First I'll say Glenna Butler and Angela Rogers, nobody cares about the things you complained about? They gave a bad review of a fantastic restaurant about some small things. Local no one wants to eat for a big table of loud, non-toxic tourists, so cry me a river that your big party was not accommodated!! This place has incredible food, incredible ambience and the stories they tell that about 50 years of customer service are unmatched?. So if some Karens don't like it, the rules aren't bent for them, GOOD! Please stay away and go somewhere where people are snotty, ignorant!

This is a fantastic spot for dining and drinks, but sadly, this is their final season! They will be closing permanently on October 2, 2022.

This rating is specifically for Brenthovens. It’s a delightful bar with excellent food. The bar is cozy, accommodating around 10 seats at the counter and about 3 small tables. They have a fantastic selection of spirits, and the skilled bartenders craft drinks beautifully. It's an ideal spot for a cocktail before dinner. The dining area is also intimate, with seating for about 20 people. While the menu is limited to around 5 or 6 items, each dish is top-notch in both flavor and presentation. I enjoyed a pair of lamb shanks that were cooked to perfection, and my wife found her trout to be outstanding as well. The small wine list includes options that cover the essentials without breaking the bank. It appears that they will be closing in autumn 2022, so make sure to visit while you can!

Alright, so I stumbled upon this place and it was a blessing. You will not have a fridge or microwave in the room but you gain the experience of a small town inn with rich history. The owners were very welcoming and the bar/restaurant had great food. It is decently located by being a 30 min drive from Jackson. If you do go to Alpine, you have to try the local brewery.
