Flying Saddle Resort - Alpine

Great service and enjoyed the location! Last minute booking and all went so smoothly and was very happy with the entire experience, will definitely stay again when I'm in town. Special shout out to the awesome onsite restaurant as well.

I?m a local and have 11 family members in town this week. They all wanted a steak dinner and since they are staying in Alpine we chose the steakhouse at flying saddle resort. Everyone ordered steaks and could not have been happier! All the cuts of steak were on point and delicious! Nate was our server and the service was impeccable! Thanks so much for making a memorable dinner for my family!

Food was great! Lovely atmosphere! Met Chef Derek walking by, He asked us how everything was and told us about close places to visit to see wildlife! Definitely will be coming back!!

Nice resort hotel in a slightly remote location. I was able to avail of the small fitness center on an early rainy and cold morning. They had free breakfast in the morning which a lot of hotels don't offer anymore.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday around 6 PM. I didn’t have a reservation, but they seated me right away, which was great. It took about 10 minutes for me to receive a menu and a glass of water, and another 10 minutes for the waiter to take my order. I went with the filet mignon, garlic potatoes, and a salad. Unfortunately, the steak, which I ordered medium, was nearly rare. The potatoes were also undercooked, though there were a few crispy bits that were nice. I did enjoy the cream sauce that accompanied the dish. Overall, I was left disappointed after spending $50. The quality and service seemed to be lacking. However, I might give it another shot if I'm in the area again.
