Tacos Y Tequila - Allentown

I had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered the pina loka fajitas and my friend got the Texas fajitas. The margaritas were amazing, especially since it was Happy Hour and I was able to get a jumbo margarita for a great price. This is now my go-to spot for Happy Hour. The service was also good and we sat outside enjoying the breezy atmosphere. The view was nice, although occasionally interrupted by loud music from passing cars.

When you visit, know you will get a mix of experiences both good and bad. The waiter was good, the male host/manager could be better. And that was the trend for the visit at Tacos y tequila.The starter was ok, my friends burrito was great ?. But the chef threw a whole bag of salt in my chicken and spinach! I couldn't eat it at all ?and there was no offer for a replacement though the waiter communicated to his boss. Very disappointed cause I was very hungry. Anyway had to do with the coconut mojito which was really good and went home to make dinner.There was a good musician playing. Very nice voice, instruments and sense of humor. Generally a lovely atmosphere ? if you get to eat what you ordered.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian section on the menu. They also have an option to pick individual items and a range of vegetarian items so you can build a decent meal out of the choices available.Wheelchair accessibility: GoodDietary restrictions: Be careful ordering if you take no, little or normal salt amounts.

The food was served cold and lacked any flavor. Appetizers were brought out with the main dishes. The waiter seemed disinterested and made mistakes with our order. It was clear he had not taken any notes. He was observed hiding in the kitchen with other staff members. The menu was limited and the prices were not accurate. Overall, it was disappointing compared to the superior Easton location with the same name.

Ended up here one night with my mom so awesome. Live music and huge nachos. Mom loved her margarita.

This was my second time dining at this restaurant. The hostess disappeared and never returned, so someone else had to seat us. We were seated inside near the bar area, which was quite revealing. The manager was disrespectful towards his staff, behaving rudely and showing no remorse. The wait staff seemed on edge, and the bartender appeared inexperienced and confused at times, without any support. The drinks were good, but they took a long time to arrive. There was a customer complaint outside, and the manager yelled at the staff, showing little concern. This made the night uncomfortable. The rice was excellent, but the tacos were just okay. Although the restaurant is beautiful, I believe the manager should be replaced and the staff should undergo training, as the potential for improvement is substantial. Additionally, the tipping options on the machine only offer a 35% tip or more, which feels manipulative.
