Primo Pizza Grill - Allentown

I have been to this restaurant several times and dined in once. Their customer service is excellent and the pizza is delicious, especially the taco pizza.

I love eating at this restaurant! We go there at least twice a month. It's my favorite place to enjoy pizza and subs.

I ordered pizza from Primo tonight. We have ordered from them a few times in the past. When the pizza arrived tonight, I could tell right away that instead of making the pizza fresh as we had ordered, they simply took a pre-made pizza, added toppings, more cheese, and cooked it for a few minutes. It was absolutely disappointing and not what we expected. We will not be ordering from them again.

I also ordered a large Sicilian pizza with speck and grilled chicken sausage. The pizza was supposed to be thick crust style, but there was hardly any speck and the chicken slices were dry and flavorless. The worst part was the undercooked crust, which tasted like a frozen pizza cracker crust. In fact, we had bought a Red Baron frozen pizza the night before for 3 for $10, and it was actually better than this pizza. The crust was better, the sauce was better (less tangy sweet). I would recommend thinking twice before spending $57 at this restaurant and also be aware that they automatically add a $10 gratuity for being there for 55 minutes, even though they claimed they were.

This restaurant used to be fantastic until it was taken over by the current owners. When I ordered a mushroom pizza, the mushrooms tasted like they came straight from a jar of vinegar. Very disappointing.
