Swiss Alps Bakery - Albuquerque

This is the best bakery in Albuquerque. The service is excellent, and the food is outstanding. I particularly enjoy their selection of Boar's Head meats and cheeses. They always offer new food and pastry specials. My new favorite is the Muffaletta sandwich, which is honestly the best I've ever had. I like to pair it with their delicious potato salad that is loaded with bacon. This is a great place to unwind, enjoy coffee, and indulge in treats. They even have a pet-friendly patio.

Let's be honest. When you think of the Swiss Alps, the second thing that probably comes to mind is that iconic scene from a classic movie. You know the one - the camera zooming in on the lush mountainside with snow-capped peaks in the background, accompanied by soothing music. And then there's the figure with a hat, twirling with arms outstretched, looking up at the sky. But did you know that the scene from "European Vacation" was actually filmed in the Austrian Alps, not the Swiss Alps?

Who is the favorite in the family? Me! At least for now... I couldn't have pulled it off without the assistance of a delicious pumpkin and pecan pie for Thanksgiving. I probably would have secured the title if I had also gotten the apple pie that was suggested to me. Oh well, there's always Christmas. On another note, their crispy chocolate chip cookies pair perfectly with a glass of warm milk. And their rich, chocolaty brownies are unbelievably good - they are topped with frosting, but honestly, they are perfect just the way they are.

I love the ambiance of this restaurant peaceful and holistic. The German Latte is wonderful the chicken green chili quesadilla is home made with fresh tortillas. We will be going back
