I was there 3 separate times and each time when eating was nice, fresh and tasty. recently my mother-in-law and I celebrated her birthday with an early dinner. the dinner was fabulous and the service was wonderful.
Carnitas tacos and tortilla soup were as always great, but $8 for a glass wein that had hardly a customs wein in the glass was a demolition. service was good,
Food was good a few misses not crazy about the octopus nachos (they were good, an interesting dish, but wouldn't order them again or the tuna tacos (to his credit, the waiter tried to steer me away from those , but the carnitas were excellent and so were the duck taquitos; decent beer selection; hipster y service. Was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night at 7:30, maybe only 8 10 other people there. Would like to see ABQ support this good local business, especially since it's feels a little by its lonesome there on Lomas and 7th. And they still haven't fixed the wall in the front, but it doesn't interfere with your meal, so you shouldn't let that deter you from going there. Would imagine that the more folks go, the sooner they'll be able to fix it :
Always love this place. While the food leans to fried, it's tapas, so not like one heavy item. The service is always fabulous gracious, friendly, well paced. Second year I've gone for the January birthday special, and Chef Elvis came to our table and made the Plantain Bananas Foster right there. Love this place!
