Great burgers. But it is PREPOSTEROUS that they do not offer french fries. If Wolfgang‘s and Peter Luger can offer french fries, so can you. I won’t be back for that reason.

We heard raves about Fork Fig. It is not a 'casual ' vibe, it 's a downright uncomfortable atmosphere, including the seating. Ceiling fans were going this was in 30 degree weather outside just after a snow storm. Had to keep my coat on. They sat us in front room where chefs were cooking. Noisy, cold and uncomfortable. Took a while to get waited on. Waitress was OK but just felt her chat back and forth was forced.The sides did not seem appropriate with the main entrees. Soup was cold. And,seems they are trying to save dishes or whatever..but to have a side served on a tin plate with a butcher paper covering WITHOUT a dish was odd and messy. Looking at a slab of polenta served on butcher paper (without a dish) was a bit too uncivilized for us. It 's 'casual ' taken to another level. The food was good ; had a burger. But it was not too pleasant between the hustle bustle of the kitchen prep area a few feet away watching the hostess stack dishes and prepare settings and put cutlery in napkins in full view was distracting and also not the greatest ambience for a restaurant dining experience. The chairs were the most uncomfortable have ever sat in due to garage style floors made a screeching terrible noise every time someone pulled them out or in. Yes, it satisfied our hunger however it was not a satisfying experience overall.

We finally gave into the rave reviews and had to check out Fork and Fig for ourselves. The expectations were high; everything we read said it would be great. What we found out is everyone was wrong as it was so much better than we hoped it would be. The food was amazing with great flavors paired with caring and thoughtful preparation. You couldn't ask for more from this understated and unassuming culinary delight.

When my friend and I entered the restaurant it was busy, but it was almost like they didn’t want to help us at all. It wasn’t until minutes later when another customer walked in, that they rushed over to help him. He even said we were there first and they still assisted him first. Took a few more minutes to be seated, and then when we were seated we felt like an afterthought. I didn’t get my water refilled until literally 2 minutes before we left, and we were there for a while. The waitress was asking everybody around us if their food was good but we got spoken to maybe once. Maybe twice. The wraps were just okay. The sides were amazing (as always). I’ve been here before and had good experiences but it seemed like this time they were not happy to see us at all. Definitely will not come back after that uncomfortable experience.

The meal I had was AMAZING!!! So good and filling (the burger is THICK). My meal was about $17. I gave 4 stars for service because when I called to put my order in, the person who answered was very short and I felt rushed. I’m able to keep a great attitude through that, and I believe that may be why her energy got better as I figured out my order, but someone else might have been out off. I ordered to go, so I can’t speak on restaurant atmosphere.
