Mikey’s At Fox Valley - Alabaster

Great food! One of the best restaurants in Shelby county. Love the staff and Mikey is a great chef.

Not bad but not great. Food was lackluster. Crab cake entree plate had 2 nice size cakes but that was it! Nothing else on the plate! My hub's catfish plate had one large piece of fish and a slice of orange. It was to come with fries. We did get side salads prior to the entrees but the entree plating was blah! Service was consistent. Everyone that walked by our table checked on us.

My kids took me to celebrate my birthday here! The food was amazing, we enjoyed our dining here.

I rarely write negative reviews, I'd rather just say nothing at all and vote with my dollar by never returning to the business... However, this place deserves it. Not only did the bartender use profanity unprovoked as she refused to serve my friend and I drinks, I was embarrassed for her.. but the salmon we ordered was so fishy and putrid it had to be sent back. Fortunately, the seared Oscar afforded the one star I was able to give. I hope they get their act together.

Excellent food and the atmosphere was good. We had crab cakes, red snapper and salmon. I would have liked more capers on my salmon but it was still very good.
