Beautiful and warm place with a roaring fire in the room. Food was super delicious! Scottish fare and good quality. Service was good but could be more welcoming when greeting people into the restaurant. Simply say hello and welcome with a smile. Have a bit of simple chat to welcome folks in especially if you're charging a service charge. People expect more. Service: Dine in

A short walk from the town center. Very cosy restaurant with extremely lovely staff. Ordered the Sunday roast which was amazing. Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch at the Clachan Grill. The food was well presented and packed full of flavour. The chicken breast was wonderfully moist, accompanied with vegetables that retained just the right level of crunch. The service was attentive but not intrusive and provided by friendly staff. I think the majority of the reviews here are influenced by the good attention that is provided at the restaurant otherwise it would be hard for me to understand how they give more than 2 stars to the food. I visited this restaurant today with my family and friends and we were super disappointed, starting with some white loaf bread straight out from the bag and some foiled wrapped butter, followed by a super basic salad with 5 extra thin soggy battered calamari’s on top and a super ordinary dressing. The main was not bad but nothing special taking in consideration that you’d pay £35 for the two courses meal or £43 for the three courses. We feel that we were ripped off, terrible experience.
