Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is quite popular in the ramen and tsukemen scene in Okinawa. It is a bit of a distance from Naha, so I made an effort to visit. The area around my alma mater seems to have a lot of new restaurants, which is to be expected after several decades. Perhaps a city with many students is always lively. The parking lot is located behind the restaurant, and in Okinawa, the presence of a parking lot can greatly affect the likelihood of people dining there. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and well-maintained, resembling a chain restaurant. There seemed to be many staff members. I ordered the tsukemen, which was indeed delicious. As I savored it, I couldn't help but think how lucky current students at Ryukyu University are to have such a restaurant near campus.
From 11:30 to 14:00, they offered free extra noodles or rice. We, a family of three, each chose the tsukemen, tonkotsu, and miso ramen. The broth was rich in umami from seafood and had a thick consistency, which we all managed to finish completely.
I entered the restaurant while waiting for it to open, but it quickly became crowded with customers. I ordered the tsukemen with chashu topping and opted for the large size during lunchtime. The portion was quite generous, but the noodles had a nice chewiness and rich flavor, making it very delicious.
