Bidrage med feedbackWe dined here on our first night in Zurich as it was close by our hotel. Very friendly service funky background music, great wine list and above all great food. I would recommend the corn fed chicken with the fresh vegetables. The presentation of the dish was that of a 5 star restaurant and tasted even better. It also has an open kitchen which in my view adds atmosphere to any establishment such as this. The cost was a bit pricey but we found that anything in Zurich was pricey.
This time we went here again with a group of colleagues. Unfortunately I felt this as a bit of a let down, as you can read from my previous reviews I'd been there quite a few times. However this time the staff appeared uninterested although we were quite a big group on a quiet evening and they were more interested in each other.The food this time was alright, but not special. All in all not the best experience this time. Hopefully better next time.
This time we went here with a group of colleagues and we had a great time. It was a busy Friday evening and there was another big group, this made it quite loud there. The food was good and came after not having to wait for too long and in the mean time we entertained ourselves with the table decoration and plenty of good wine. The food was good for all of us and the portions are very generous. We had a great experience and they even offered us limoncello on the house. We left at closing time, which by itself should tell how great our experience was.
This time I went here with two friends for dinner during the week. The restaurant wasn't as busy, but the food was excellent again. The service was also very good, attentive and friendly. The only downside was the dessert, which was still frozen on the inside. Otherwise it was again a very good meal and offered great value for money.
I ate here for dinner with my parents after seeing the reviews on Tripadvisor.We were warmly greeted on arrival, but after that, the service seemed to go down hill.They quickly took our drinks orders and had them out and then took our meal order. Whilst we were waiting other tables were receiving bread baskets as they waited, none was offered or brought out to us, bit disappointing especially after a busy day sight seeing. Then randomly the waiter brought out a small carafe of wine that seemed to be smoking, something for show I guess? We were told not to bother trying as it wouldn't taste nice!After waiting almost 25 minutes, our meals came, my focaccia was average, however the burger and the ravioli that my parents had was to their satisfaction, the curly fries are good.My mum ordered a coffee and myself some ice cream, the coffee was brought out immediately, although we would question whether it was a cappuccino or not. Waited 10 minutes, no ice cream, decided we were tired so I went to get the bill, the ice cream containers were just sitting on the bench! I told the staff we just wanted our bill (less the ice cream) and he seemed shocked, maybe it was being impatient but I don't think it is unreasonable to get impatient for something so easy to prepare.It was pricey for what we had (but to be expected in Zurich) but with the not so great service, it seemed expensive. Overall, not the best dining experience.
