Pizzeria Felice - Zuerich

Small local with the best vegan, gluten-free pizza in town.

Truly the single best tasting GF pizza I ever ate in the world (and I have tried a LOT). The dough is fresh, with only gluten free ingredients. Cross contamination might indeed be possible, but I am a symptomatic celiac and never had any issues eating there (regularly during the past 5 years). Even gluten-eaters approve this pizza!

Upside: They have amazing gluten free Pizza (and normal, as I am told). The ambiente of the restaurant is also really nice. Downside: Definitely not suitable for celiacs. Also, Avanti pizzaria, which you may see listed, is just the old name of Felice pizzaria.

The menu offers 2 vegan pizzas (although I’m pretty sure if you wanted to veganize other pizzas you could, too . I had the v porcini and it was very large, and mediocre at best The price is actually pretty high even for Zurich (CHF 28. … and for having no service basically (I was sitting on a table with “dancing” legs and the waiter noticed but didn’t say/do anything about it lol anyway, I’ll give it 2 stars because despite all the above the pizza tasted okay ish (oregano on the pizza aside….which we don’t do in Italy would not go back but nice they offer vegan options I guess? Be prepared: The people who work there are not friendly. But you can enjoy huge pizzas with melted vegan cheese. Updated from previous review on 2021-10-17
