Käsestube Furgg - Zermatt

Sun was shining in the sky, so was the staff. I got food fast, it was tasty, great view and good service. I would definetely come back!

We enjoyed the pretty location, the super food (goat cheese süperb and kids were happy with real food here and not the kids non sense). Especially service is outstanding as staff is friendly and clears tables nearly instantly. Impressive cheese menue!

I'm very impressed and excited with the service, they were very kind, gentle and friendly with us. The food was very delicious and I felt in love with their fondue and other speciality's. While I was surprised to find a veal liver salad on the menu of a small, cozy restaurant at a ski resort in the Alps, I was blown away at the flavor and presentation of the food. Clearly a true professional at the helm of this establishment. The salad was a work of art, with lovely greens, fresh vegetables and peppers, with liver and onions sautéed to perfection. I happen to eat liver everywhere I go, from New York to LA to Paris and Antibes... and this was the best I've ever had. Quite frankly, I can't wait to eat it again. In fact, I am going to make sure that I am hungry when I pass through this particular spot on the mountain again this week. Dzemal, the manager, came by to make sure that my meal was to my liking. There are dozens of restaurants in Zermatt, and I've eaten at plenty of them, but none can compare to this tiny restaurant hidden at Furgg. Make sure to check it out: take the Matterhorn Express gondola all the way to the Furgg stop. FABULOUS.
