Sonny's Bbq - Zephyrhills

I ordered an appetizer that arrived at the end of my meal. The food was cold, the ribs were burnt, and the brisket had more fat than I've ever seen. I only saw the waitress twice—once to take my order and again to bring the bill. The food and service were so poor that "terrible" doesn't even begin to cover it. I will never return.

I hadn’t visited this restaurant in a while, and I was delighted to see that a familiar waitress was still working there. My daughter and I mentioned how nice it was to see her, and she shared that she’s been there for 18 years! It’s incredible because I can’t remember the last time I saw a waitress stay at a restaurant for that long. She always has a smile, and it was still bright on her face. Overall, it’s a great place to eat, and we had a lovely evening.

If you go to this Sonny's and happen to get J'nae as your waitress,then your in luck. She was the sweetest and most friendly person and really made our visit enjoyable (along with the food of course). Every waitress should be like her.

The place looks great since the remodel. Food was great as always!

I dined at Sonny's for the first time today. I've been living in Florida for a year now, and my co-workers and neighbors have been praising this restaurant, but I hadn’t had the chance to visit until today! I took some relatives visiting from New York to dinner at Sonny's, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the food. Thank you! I will definitely be returning!
