Le Schlossberg - Zellenberg

The hotel is located in the heart of the village, the rooms are rustic but beautiful. We had them with a balcony and could therefore enjoy a beautiful view over the vineyards. Breakfast didn't blow us away, very simple and no fruits or cereals or the...like would have expected more for the price. Running from an older couple, she's super nice and friendly while he's more the creepy type and a bit of patronage that makes me out.

The restaurant was small and cozy with traditional decor. The waitress (and wife of the cook, probably also the owner) was very pleasant and accommodating. They had a good selection of wines, including wines on the glass. Three of our group ordered the chicken, which... was excellently prepared and delicious. One of us ordered the flan of Foie-Gras, who was very rich, but good. Our general culinary experience was very pleasant and I would recommend this restaurant.

Small restaurant and rather limited menu, but very Alsacien! Beautiful Baeckaoffa and millet feuille (not pastries but salty food). Service in French or German. Very friendly staff.

We wandered around Zellenberg and walked into this traditional restaurant for lunch. The lady managing it offered us a very small choice of meals (due to the late hour), of which only the Baëckaofa (Potée Alsacienne) was good (albeit a bit too salty). The Assiette...du Vigneron was not sufficient for any normally hungry person... Service was below any standards and the only thing which was nice was the restaurant's long wine list.

The food was just OK nothing special, but it wasn't that expensive either. The staff seemed a bit grumpy.
