Chili's - Zapopan

We once again went to Chili's for a special Valentines dinner with our dear friends. They have a very good menu with a nice variety. Our waitress did a very good job. We enjoyed our food and experience here.

We have come to this restaurant several times in the past. This time we came with another couple for an anniversary dinner. The wait staff did very well. We love the menu and the quality of our food was great. We plan to come back again and we recommend this place.

We enjoyed eating at this Chili's. We were seeking a good, filling meal and the food was excellent. The shopping center in which it was located is undergoing some renovation and face-lifting, and that could be off putting, but frankly it did not impact the interior of the restaurant at all. I bet it all looks great when finished.

The Chili 's Hampton GDL Restaurant is the only game in town if you are staying without a car at the Hampton Inn near the airport in Guadalajara. It is steps from the hotel. The place is bright, new-looking and has colourful tile work on the tables. To me, it is reminiscent of a Boston PIzza, with large screen televisions scattered around the place. There is a large rectangular bar, upbeat music paying. The menu is Tex Mex, and if you are celiac, the selection is not great. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, a limonada, and a side of fries, which, when they arrived, I suspected were dusted with a flour spice mix. Since they were from a bag, it wasn 't hard not to eat them. The bottomless beverage tasted like it was made from a mix, and the salad had cheddar cheese, not the delicious, fresh queso that I had come to enjoy during my visit to Mexico. This eatery could be a large chain restaurant in any big city. To say the food was mediocre would be a stretch. I felt sad that my last meal in Mexico had to be here.

We have been to a few different Chili's in GDL in the past and found the food quality was not as good as thet serve in their restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. However we keep going back in GDL only to have their wonderful desserts as a snack. This time it was at Centro Magno location. The service was good and the desserts high quality and delicious.
