Bistro La Bastille - Zapopan

La comida estaba buena, el servicio fue estupendo, se acomodaron a todas mis peticiones especiales de sustituciones. Volveré a cenar allí de nuevo.

Como lo llamamos el "Bistró Francés", es un lugar perfecto para cenar. La buena comida y el excelente servicio hacen que sea difícil irse si te alojas en el Intercontinental. Hemos cenado en todo GDL y siempre nos aseguramos de disfrutar de una comida aquí cuando estamos en la ciudad. Asegúrate de dejar que el gerente elija una buena botella de vino mexicano para ti. No te decepcionará.

Tuve cena una vez durante mi estancia en el Intercontinental Guadalajara y mi experiencia no fue placentera. La sopa francesa estaba buena y fue lo único que pude comer. Pedí papas que nunca llegaron y el pescado fue terrible, olía mal y tenía un sabor horrible. No lo recomendaría.

We were staying at the Intercontinental stating on New Year's Eve and I believe booked the last table. The meal was five courses. I could have just had a meal of the appetizers it was so delicious. I had the sea scallops with risotto and asparagus and the scallops were large and well-prepared. The restaurant is decorated as French bistro and during the day had checkered table clothes and chalk board menus, however, our dinner was with white cloths and hats for New Year's with French music playing as background. We spoke with people who live in Guadalajara who said the restaurant gets rave review and it should. If you are not staying at the hotel you should make a reservation and if you are staying at the hotel it is a must.The only reason we did not return immediately was because it was closed the next day and we were out for the next two nights. The restaurant is more expensive than other dining experiences we had but you not get a similar meal in the US for the same price.

Better then France! First time here , but super impress. This restaurant should have a line to get in, that's how taste the food is. Don't leave with out try the escargot!!! Super taste!!!
