Konokono Beach Resort - Zanzibar

Amazing. Location and proximity of the accommodation are nice, quiet and very safe. Staff is the best, very friendly and always ready to help. Cleanliness, food and all other services are excellent. Beach was calm and relaxing without music at all. You can even hear birds.

We were in a water bungalow and it was stunning. These private rooms have a bathtub and a body cleaning cream. There is also a rain shower, a water closet with a bidet, an extra large king bed and outside we have steps that go down into the ocean. The design and decor is incredible and thoughtful. We also have a private pool and all other amenities such as a safe, house hold twice a day and a selection of drinks. The bungalows have their own exclusive restaurant, which can only visit five villas if you do not stick to the standard buffet. There is a large pool for the whole resort, but renting a water bungalow is the way to go. The only bad thing in this place is that the power grid is occasionally cut off for 2-10 minutes before it reopens and also the water pressure sometimes only completely, which is frustrating. But overall I give this resort a B and A food is well made as the cook is from Belgium and creates a fusion of French/local cuisine for every meal.

I can honestly say this is one of the coolest places I've ever stayed in. The staff is friendly and clean. Be careful of the monkey. Nuts suspect that it's normal considering that you stay in the middle of a forest. TIP: If you rent a car, make sure that u arrive in the morning, as the road from the main road to the location is very bumpy and not easy (most of zanzibar is by the way)

Amazing venue... Isayara was perfect. Everyone was extremely friendly, the food was great, true Tanzanian hospitality..I'd highly recommend Isayara for anyone looking for an intimate and private time away.
