Oak House - Yucaipa

The restaurant is adorned with authentic antiques both inside and out. As you approach the front door, you’ll notice a small water feature with either large goldfish or small koi (I still can’t tell which). You’ll cross a tiny bridge to enter, and once inside, you’ll find even more antiques. The booths, while well-used, are quite comfortable. The service is friendly and efficient, embodying a welcoming small-town atmosphere. The background music consists of familiar country and western tunes, ranging from classics of 40 years ago to contemporary hits. You’ll see many regular customers here on any given day. Overall, this place is clean and cozy, serving hearty comfort food at amazing prices. My personal favorite is the fried chicken dinner, and I also love the beefeater. When it comes to breakfast, I find it hard to choose just one or two items—I want to try everything on the menu! I consider this one of the best “hometown” spots to eat in Yucaipa.
