We ordered two sandwiches: one brisket and one pulled pork. Both were delicious, but the brisket was the standout. You absolutely have to try their onion tanglers—super thin strands of fried onion! I sometimes stop by just to grab an order of those. I also love that they have a self-serve soft serve ice cream machine, so you can make your own root beer float!

I’ve updated my rating from 1 star to 5 stars! The new management at this Yucaipa location is fantastic! Orders are now completed incredibly quickly, and their hours have returned to normal, operating from 11 AM to 9 PM every day. The selection of meats is excellent, including BBQ pork ribs, pulled pork, pork burnt ends, brisket, chicken, turkey breast, kielbasa, and sandwiches. They also offer wings! You can choose your protein with a variety of sides like barbecue beans, spinach, mac and cheese, waffle fries, coleslaw, potato salad, green beans, fried onions or okra, or a Caesar salad. Don’t forget to save room for dessert—options include pecan pie, a large brownie, and chocolate chunk cookies. They even have a kids’ menu, and kids eat free on Sundays with a $12 purchase per adult (dine-in only). Plus, if you’re thirsty, they sell large yellow cups for drinks. Be sure to ask about catering and family packs!

Under new ownership!!! Great customer service, very quick- and the food was outstanding!! Pulled pork sandwich- the pork is so tender like butter and the bun is soft and fresh- had the loaded potato casserole- very tasty- highly recommend!!! Definitely will be going back!!!

Update after new ownership: Went back to Dickeys this month after hearing they have new owners. Food and service were great, and when they were out of pie (no big deal to me they gave a coupon for a sandwich the next time we came. So glad to have a great dickeys in town not drive to highland for it. 4 months ago in April (Went to have dinner and they closed 3 hours early but had left the sign on and door open. Disappointing since they recently confirmed their store hours on Google.
