Once again had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Loraine in Young Harris, Ga. This, from scratch, farm to table jewel would be a top flight restaurant if placed in any setting or city. The fact that the owners, Keri and Cory have chosen our neck of the woods to ply their scrumptious trade is most gratifying. From the cocktails my favorite, an Old Fashion) to desert, all presentations are done with an attention to the quality use of local products seldom seen. Drop by or call for a reservation, you will not be disappointed. I have included a picture of the late summer menu that is due to change fairly soon as entrees are dictated by seasonal crops and prices at about $20.00. Yum!

Great meal. Their “small plates” were huge! Everything is made to order so not a place for in n out. Worth the wait for sure! Will definitely go again! Fabulous chef from New Orleans! Very talented!

We have been hearing all about Taco Tuesday for a long time...did not disappoint!

Lorenes was a pleasant surprise. Food was impeccable and service was perfect. We had the pepper special as an appetizer and the trout . The trout was so expertly prepared! Best I may have ever had. Covered with beans/ microgreens and a delicious sauce. Our go to place whenever we visit our daughter in Young Harris, Ga.
