Wild Fig Kitchen - Yosemite Lakes

Stopped for breakfast before heading into Yosemite NP. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the service was pretty quick. Food was yummy! Glad we stopped here and will definitely be back in the future.

The place is okay. My brisket sandwich was a bit cold. Lukewarm. I also appreciate that when a sandwich that is supposed to be hot, has melted cheese. The cheese was cold, like straight from the fridge. It added to the sensation of the sandwich being cold.The chicken and waffles, we prefer the waffles to be crispy. These were quite soft and a bit cold. Like when the kitchen lets them sit and just re heats them up to order. Not saying that this is what happens, just what it tastes like. At least the chicken was hot.The carrot soup had really good flavor. I liked that it had cilantro on top. And that it was hot.For me, the place isn’t bad. It’s just okay.

Food was good. Cashier was quite, well, rude for lack of a better word. I got the feeling we were bothering her because we had questions.

Food was good. We had breakfast; eggs, toast, etc. Fresh fruit was beautiful. French toast 6.5/10. Order at the counter, seat yourself and they bring your food. Coffee was great, but refills at the counter. There is an outside deck/patio. Inside is close quarters, so it was noisy, but comfortable.

This was our first time eating there. The food was great and fresh! The counter person wasn’t. She got our orders wrong. We didn’t complain but still made a point to give us attitude and walk away when we told her. We still ate our food and didn’t send it back. Hopefully it will be better next time!
