Silver Fox Grill - Yorkville

Mommy Day Brunch was a hit. We really enjoyed the yummy food and the champagne flights. I really wish they offered brunch more often, it was seriously outstanding.

Been here a few times now with the last being may 5th. They were packed and had dancers preforming. Was a great show. Drinks were great and customer service was outstanding. Appetizer was great too. I ordered the ribs which I had here a few times and were always outstanding this time not so great the sauce was chunky the presentation not the greatest didn't even have the fire salt this time and taste was flat. Definitely something changed meat was tender just the taste was off. Hopefully they get it figured out and fixed. I saw a few other posts stating small portions I can honestly say I have never left here hungry. I truly hope this last experience was just a fluke.

Silver Fox was amazing! The butter options with the bread were a nice surprise. The chicken tortellini were delicious and everyone else loved their steaks.

There are many photos of silver fox movie stars inside plus drinks that are named after them. I had the David Hasselhoff that I thought had too much pineapple in it but the frozen watermelon balls was a nice touch. I had the ahi tuna, shrimp cocktail, and the sakanaki cheese and all three tasted as good as their plated presentation. The raspberry donut cheesecake tasted just like it 's name. We will be back.

Went here in a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I so wanted to be impressed with this place. The menu and drinks sounded very appealing. However, the service was horrendous. I walked in and there was no one at the hostess booth. I had to ask the bartender to be seated. I ordered a Kountry Black Raspberry Basil cocktail and Strawberry Ricotta Bruschetta. The drink was amazing! While the appetizer was small, it was very good as well. Sadly, service was the opposite. After finally getting a seat, my bartender said that he had a 6 top and was “swamped.” I gave my order to a waiter that wasn’t even mine. I got my food 5-10 minutes BEFORE I got my cocktail. Also, I never got silverware or a napkin. I had to ask someone from the kitchen! For a restaurant that is going for a modern, semi-upscale restaurant/bar theme, they need to step up their service game, BIG TIME. I would go back only if I knew the service had improved. While the food is amazing, the service should be the same.
