Pho Shack Noodles Grill - Yorkville

Surprisingly great pho in a small town. Highly recommend. I think I had the best brisket pho ever. This store deserves more review!

First time here. Came here for the Bon mi sandwich and was inform that they were out of bread for the sandwiches. Decided to try the all in one Pho. P 01. The pho broth was off. I have eaten a lot of Pho in my life and it has never tasted like this. Don'tthink I will be back.

The food was just okay. I ordered the large pork pho along with a can of Sprite, but the noodles were overcooked to the point of being mushy. The service was minimal at best. The menu listed the price of the large pho as $10.99, but I noticed a sign on the wall indicating that all prices had increased by $2. When my bill came, I was charged $22 before the tip. I asked about the discrepancy, and she explained that the new price for the pho should have been $12.99. I can't recall the exact price of the Sprite, but I doubt it was around $7. She admitted to overcharging me and gave me $2.17 back in cash. Even with that refund, a fro $13 pho and a small can of Sprite shouldn't have added up to $20 before the tip. I was just passing through from out of state and needed a quick lunch, so I decided to let it go rather than argue, especially since I had a four-hour drive ahead of me. Overall, the food was mediocre, the service was poor, and there were some odd calculations that made my total much higher than expected.

We both ordered pho and shared a sandwich as an appetizer. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic, and the portion sizes were impressive! We will definitely be coming back.

I ordered the beef brisket Pho and spring rolls, and they were absolutely delicious! I loved every bite, and the portion size was generous—I even have some leftovers, which I'm really excited about because it's just so tasty!
