China Garden - Yorkville

Very good Mapo tofu and egg fu Yung. I'm very picky about Chinese food and would definitely order from here again so that's saying a lot!

Great food and quick service. Only thing that made me nervous was walking under the China Garden sign above the front door. Sign wasn't lit at night, appears damaged, and may need to be inspected or repaired.

Ordered food to be delivered the egg rolls and tempura shrimp were so overdone they were inedible. I complained so I got shrimp replaced not the egg rolls . When it was delivered the boy sat it on the porch and drove off . The girl on the phone was ajerk . I'm never ordering there again

The food tastes good, butbits honesty the same as any other Chinese restaurant. I won't be going back though because they upcharged me because I wanted my rice the way I wanted it. Well, its a restaurant, they should cook it how you want it right?NOPE! they charge you extra if they have to cook your rice. I've never heard of a place charging extra because they have to cookit. I'll never go back.

Rice isn?t fried. Chicken isn?t chicken more like parts of the chickens guts instead. I wondered why it?s the cheapest one now I know. My favorite place is Great Wall of china or taste of china but this place was closer to home. I?ll always go the extrafor my favorite for now on. Learned my lesson hard lol
