Wimpy's Diner - York

I took my mother there on Saturday. Neither of had been before. We both loved it. The staff were friendly and made sure we were happy with the food. They were attentive with our drinks as well. The flavour of the food was fantastic. Just...absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were BIG. I could only eat half of my patty melt. And my mother only ate half of her western sandwich. There was so much filling in her sandwich and they sure didn't skimp on the ham. My patty melt had a thick juicy patty inside with lots of cheese and sauteed onions. YUM!!! Great atmosphere inside. They played and style music. So much to look at as all the walls were filled with old photos. Made for great conversation.

If you like diner food, breakfast, burgers and toasted sandwiches then this is your stop. Good prices , lots of choice and full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The food is pretty good and service quick . Worth a visit

Come hungry, let yourself be full. a good menu full of choice, their literally is something for everyone. I had breakfast for dinner, Eggs, Babons and pancakes. all meals came hot and tasty. good price. a great old woman and her milkshakes are great

Wimpy's has lost some of its charm as the nostalgic decor loses its appeal and the quality of the food diminishes. Many dishes are bland and lack flavor. While the staff is friendly and attentive, the overall organization and noise level can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, it is advisable to double-check the bill before paying as errors are common.

Loved it here, atmosphere is nice. Loads of choices for food. Deserts are divine. Love everything about it.
