Mong Kok Chinese Cuisine - York

This used to be an alright place. The food was good and nice dining room. Clean washrooms...for a Chinese restaurant. Recently, went there with friends, for dim sum and it's not there anymore...CLOSED.

If there is an event (party) booked such as the night we tried to go, don't go unless you are in the party. There are no separate rooms to escape the noise. We went for dinner at 5:30 where the party hadn't even started yet but a few amateur singers were belting out tunes while warming up the karaoke machine. Two other tables who were well into eating their meals complained about the volume but restaurant management said they asked the party to turn it down but to no avail. That was our signal to leave. If the restaurant even offered a discount voucher to come back another night I could have put an actual review of their food on Trip Advisor. Opportunity lost for them.

Kookminhakgyo is a Korean BBQ restaurant located just north of Yonge/Cummer in a small plaza.

This korean restaurant is cute and small, we waited about 20mins around 6pm to be seated__The 3 of us got the 4 person assorted pork.
