Castle Hotel Bistro - York

A very good choice We had some light dinner at this restaurantIt was just around the corner from our apartement and had pretty good feedback.

Excellent bar for the regular person looking for a break from Paris life.

Service was friendly and helpful in the bistro but the room was cold and tired. Food was tasty but really a bit overpriced for its standard. We also ate in the bar and the same comments apply

We eat here every time we drive through York .Never had a bad meal always value and quality for a dam good pub meal.

Went in as they advertised a fried chicken special - kids and I ordered and payed for this and about 5 mins later we were told they had run it mount of chicken. Not happy. Daughter and I went for soup ( very very average) and the little fella had kids fish n chips. Mmmmm, a little disappointed to be honest. Would not recommend! Go to the Flourmill instead.
