York's Yummy Chicken

Went here with two other families, 5 adults and 5 children. Tried their chicken and chips which are very tasty. Glad that we choose the best menu here. It was very satisfying and halal. The men here was very kind that he let us eat comfortably until we finished our meal.

Not a great experience but seemed to be the only place open at 10.30pm on a Saturday night that wasn’t a pub. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing but all three pizzas were bland and rather disappointing. One pizza was left off the order by mistake so while that was rectified the other pizzas were kept in a warmer but were not exactly hot when we were given them. We were given a portion of chips as an apology gif messing up the order though and actually they were really quite nice. So, go for the chips but if pizza is what you’re after then I’d suggest this isn’t the best.

The guy is a complete idiot... wouldn’t listen to me on the phone.. just said.. we are busy we are busy and put the phone down! If you can’t stand the heat... get out of the kitchen!!!!

Best chicken house in york. Better than KFC. One of York’s hidden gems. The coating is phenomenal. Delicious and hot. Good value for money and open late!

The BEST takeaway in York hands down. If you like takeaway style food, this is the place to go. Highly recommend the mozzarella dippers and garlic Mayo. Staff super friendly too!
