Hearty pub food, very good meals, my steak was a spot on medium rare . well expensive eating for the center of york. would go back to our next visit.

Very friendly that I sat and my partner in front of the flow personnel, it would recommend in the future to all my family and friends when they come to york.

Had two steak and ale cake and chickenburger for a party. nice eating. was certainly homemade and very tasty and weigh the gravity I like and proper homemade chips. daughter said burger was good.

Had the 8oz Sirloin. Asked for it medium and it was cooked to perfection. Girlfriend had the same but asked for it rare and again it was perfect. You get so much food for your money and it was all lovely. Great service too. Waiter chef were happy to accommodate our request for extra veg instead of chips. Definitely recommended as somewhere to eat in York
