This is a lovely place to stop off at if you fancy a coffee, the staff are friendly and polite and the coffee is well priced.

I ordered a trio of salami, sundried tomato, and mozzarella sandwich. Unfortunately, the sandwich I received was dry, with wilted yellow lettuce and no sundried tomato. Additionally, the wait time was too long, and ultimately, I ended up throwing away the sandwich. I was also not interested in obtaining a loyalty card.

Lovely sandwiches freshly made. They will make them to order and even adjust the filling to suit your taste. The cheese and red onion marmalade was different and tasty. Also do salad boxes to order. Good prices. Exceptional independent sandwich shop in the heart of the Shambles.

The Lunch Box received an Excellent rating from us, and we can confidently say that it was well-deserved. Our experience, dining at a table towards the back of the restaurant on a beautiful Spring day, was truly delightful. We savored hot bacon and beef rolls along with homemade Bakewell Tart. The staff was welcoming and efficient, the prices were fair, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a memorable day in the City.
