Service always with a smile and a good choice of drinks and eating. there was a group of ladies who pick up a nice time with recreation and there is always the inner room for those who want to be more secluded.

Never disappointed visit regularly standard of food service cleanliness superb. The owner is resident and serving in café everyday. She is a truly lovely caring person who delights in serving good and coffee.

The Lemon Tree is a clean and bright Tearoom in a parade of shops on a housing estate. As such, it's not a place you would naturally drive past, so unless you live locally you would have to make a special effort to come here....Having said that, it isn't far from the Poppleton Garden Centre so makes a pleasant alternative to the cafe there. The menu is limited and it is primary place for tea, coffee, cake and snacks.The savoury items are restricted to panini, soup, tea cakes or toast so it's not a place for all day breakfasts etc. As I was in the mood for a tea and a cheese scone however I was well suited and both were very good. There is a good range of teas and coffees and the cakes and scones are all home made. Prices are reasonable and the young lady running the place is charming. So for the sake of a couple of minutes detour off the or the ring road why not give it a try.

Lovely place with a relaxing atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of drinks, paninis, snacks and cakes. The soup is lovely and the ingredients are always top quality.
