The Cat's Whiskers - York

Fantasic place to visit if you're a cat lover. You get an hour to sit in the place which has comfortable chairs and some tables with chairs. The cats roam freely, and there are some house rules that are clearly stated. No dogs allowed or young children. No disabled toilets. Cakes and drinks are available to purchase while you visit. The staff are lovely and friendly. Great place.

Walked in without pre bookings, lovey settings and environment, ordered coffee which was good but let’s be honest we were there to pet the cats can see that were well taken care of, the staff know all the cats well and were clear about rules things to be aware of around some of the cats, 5 stars great experience!

Lovely cat cafe! I appreciate how all of the employees are friendly and share interesting information about the different cats. Our family recently lost our own ginger girl so I was delighted when Pumpkin jumped up into my lap for a cuddle! We booked Sunday at noon but I imagine Monday Thursday mornings would be a better chance to get more 1 on 1 time with the cats. I think the prices are fair considering the cat cafes in London are double the price. Highly recommend this cafe!

Great atmosphere and food. Cats freely roaming around between upstairs and downstairs.
